Through our national programs and annual chapter programming, the Rho Nu Chapter works to nurture intellectual exploration, encourage artistic expression, and foster community across Cambridge.
Black Arts Brunch
The Rho Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Xi Tau Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. present the 6th Annual Black Arts Brunch! The event will take place on Sunday, May 5th, 2024 from 11 AM - 2 PM in the MIT Burton-Conner Porter Room. Facilitator Bios ✨🌟 ••••••••
Supreme Hassan designed and established the Restorative Justice Working Group in Norfolk, Massachusetts, followed by co-founding the Transformational Prison Project in 2012, a prominent Boston-based non-profit organization centered on restorative justice principles. Trained as a Restorative Justice and Trauma Healing facilitator, Supreme specializes in leading group processes for individuals impacted by the justice system and collaborates closely with victims and survivors of violent crimes. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Liberal Arts from Boston College and Tufts University’s TUPIT Program, he is expected to graduate in 2025.
Imam Taymullah Abdur-Rahman, once a rising pop star in the group Perfect Gentlemen, transitioned to Islam after finding himself struggling as a young father in Roxbury, MA. As Harvard’s first paid Muslim chaplain, he engaged in interreligious dialogue that shaped his understanding of systemic racism’s impact on Black and brown communities in America, working as a multi-faith leader within maximum security facilities. The abolitionist and author’s current works include “44 Ways to Manhood’, the memoir “American Imam” and the podcast, “All Restorative Everything.”

Dodgeball Tournament
Dodge, duck, dip, and dive!🤾🏽♂️
Join us for an epic dodgeball tournament on Sunday, February 11th, from 1pm-4pm at Tufts University’s Carzo Cage. It’s all about kicking off the semester right with friendly competition, positive vibes, and tons of fun! 💪🏽🏆
All players are welcomed. You can build a team of your own, or come alone and join one. Just don’t forget to bring $5 and your best game face! Snacks will also be available for purchase.

Black & Gold Leaders Symposium
Calling all student leaders in the Boston Area!
The Rho Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is hosting a Black and Gold Leaders Symposium in collaboration with MIT BSU, Harvard BSA, Tufts BSU, and Babson BSU.
This event will provide student leaders with a space to network, discuss issues within our communities, and refine ideas and visions that will hopefully be brought to life at our respective campuses.
Rho Nu Runs: Local Charities
The Rho Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. presents: Rho Nu Runs! During the month of July, we will be raising money to support local Boston- and Cambridge-based charitable causes. For every mile run by a participant this month, Rho No will donate one dollar towards a cause that you vote on!
