Derrick Elijah Johnson is a senior at Tufts University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. A proud native of Cleveland, Ohio, Derrick is the youngest of five siblings and cherishes family dearly.

He views his parents, Darryl and Vickie, as two of his greatest role models. While in school, Derrick has played a present role in both the Tufts and greater Boston community through his work with the Tufts Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), TeamIMPACT, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts.

Derrick joined the Rho Nu Chapter during the Spring of his junior year. He currently serves as Chapter Corresponding Secretary.
